Alana and Alyssa
The beauty of Alana De La Garza has left an impression even on tiny screens. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Soon after she was moving to Texas and completed her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles in independent local films as well as global commercials. Even though she had small parts, the actress rapidly realized the passion she had for performing. After moving to New York, in 2001 she was offered her first acting role on All My Children. She had minor roles on JAG The Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. Following a brief run, her character migrated over to Law & Order: LA. This particular character earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The year 2008 was the time she received the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding performances for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Deko and was also the wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was in the role of Doctor. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat more dark-hearted drama Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is Italian and has a 10 year old younger brother called Cory. Milano was born into a relatively conservative and religious family. Milano began her acting career aged seven when her babysitter joined her at an audition. Four girls were selected from more than a thousand hopefuls. Milano appeared in TV commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the American premiere musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
